Europe - transitability and roadworks

Transhipment

Many issues are unfolding in relation to the issue transhipments services, many customers are forced, as provided for by letter of credit, to require transport services without transhipments in the direction of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran, themselves finding difficulties. The forms of financial coverage (letters of credit for example) if not expressly agreed or varied, in many cases, provide these conditions of supply, here comes the problem, the services in case of oversize and / or overweight at that point becomes difficult or impossible. The topic is very important because, to obtain permits for exceptional transport in Russia or other countries with vehicles Europeans, is extremely complex and expensive (our St. Petersburg on this point is clear!), (vice versa is not easy!)

Permission for exceptional transport

As we said in the Bulletin 09, we check the appearance of sanctions on the authorisation transport exceptional. The European community, despite efforts to standardize discipline, was still very different aspects in different countries. Generally in all countries except the principle, transport and exceptional IMPORTANT least the appearance of permits and penalties, however, is different.

The diversity of this sector are still wider if we turn our attention to countries outside Europe. Ship and transport of cargo in Russia, Ukraine or Syria or Iraq must consider the big problem customs. The customs is the first problem when you arrive in these countries. To find a solution means starting well, but it had not finished! The customs in some countries, want the value of the goods, or routes, can impose customs pilot cars, which in addition to those provided for cargo, make complicated the management of committed, remember also that in order to reduce the high cost of pilot cars from customs, the complexity formats, it helps provide for the continuation of the trucks in convoy. The recent example is the one cited above, is intended to UA Kramatorsk, the first three trucks, have continued in convoy for about 1300km Ukraine, they needed 8 days (unfortunately the case of motorways in some countries, assumptions are not certainties!)

This small table, we get to observe, such as differences in flow ton / axles, between countries, can also vary the 50%, or in countries such as Poland (PL) and / or Ukraine (UA) and must use expensive vehicles with much load capacity load but unfortunately unexpressed.

Insurance and "All risk"

This new area has received great interest, especially in the area of responsibility vector

The cardinal principle, obviously, is the risk of any transaction / service, don’t forget!.
As promised, we face the issue of digital tachographs. Over the past years were introduced plants detection driving times digital. The problem of hours for conductor, had to be checked. The complexity of these new control systems has needed card of drivers, besides organizing training courses in order to use the devices. The result hoped for by the authorities, was to better control the conductors and significantly reduce road accidents. The situation today, in many cases obscure to customers, is that the control of driving hours duration space of at least 30 days, and most important well, the authorities have also given the criminal law, in serious cases, these sanctions.
By analyzing the legal, civil liability / penalty was extended by the carriers to shippers / senders and unloaders / consignees (Click here.) On this point, given the implications civil / criminal, it is important that the sender and the customers have awareness!
