Cabotage and Transhipment

Permission for exceptional transport

In the last edition, we discussed the use of Internet through the application procedures for permits. All this should not confuse the difficulties, but also techniques of language, they meet every day through all the countries of new Europe. The question is passed customs, at least for the goods that move within Europe (*), but the various technical requirements (see SCHEDA TECNICA for carriers coming into Italy, or § 70 for vehicles driven in Germany) are the essential conditions that must be addressed prior to the request for authorization. There are many cases where the client needs to have clear indications of dates and times for loading and unloading, in these cases all the problems multiply. When you think 1500km or 2000km long 3 or 4 different countries, the problems and provide solutions which are assumed many and not always so clear. All this means diseconomies! Many invoke European rules, clearly would be the simplest thing, unfortunately the EU is very young, this hypothesis certainly will certainly bring economies and savings to the system, but the timing must be calculated with reasonable medium - long.
